reel_spn fic, struggling actually. i've actually started the thing like four different times but wouldnt get more than a few paragraphs before it falls apart . i finally realized i was stuffing myself up by trying to follow the script, so now im chopping and changing the story at will, lol. in case you didnt know, im supposed to be doing a twister AU. hey it sounded like a good idea when i signed up, coz thats like one of my favourite movies, and would only have been improved by the addition of buttsecks. unfortunately j & j are not actually doing any buttsexing right now. for some reason they prefer to angst, sigh. heres a small example of the angsting, if you're interested.Jared was out of the car, practically before it had pulled to a stop racing towards where Jensen lay on the ground, still winded. In fact, Jensen had just managed to sit up when he was toppled over agin by an armful of worried Padalecki. Jared was frantic, running his hands over Jensen’s body, as much to reassure himself Jen was safe, as to check for injures. “Jen, you okay? You hurt? God did I hit you?? You hurt? Jeez I'm so sorry... so so sorry…”
It took Jensen repeating his name several times before Jared started listening to what he was saying. “I'm fine Jay, stop... stop... Jay… I'm perfectly okay, dusty and bruised but otherwise good, don’t worry” He could see that his words were starting to sink in; Jared no longer had that panicked look in his eye. But with worry no longer clouding his mind, Jared had plenty of time to take in the position they were in and this really wasn’t any better. He was damn near straddling Jensen on the ground, could feel hands gripping his biceps while his own registered the firm muscles of Jensen’s stomach, where they had come to rest. Well, shit…
Body still sizzling from the contact after being denied for so long, Jared scrambled gracelessly off of Jensen, then as if remembering himself stuck his hand out to help the other man up.
body at full attention, Mind reeling from the too brief contact, Jensen let the younger man pull him up, appreciating, like always, the strength of those graceful hands. But as much as he wanted to feel those hands on other parts of his body, things were no longer the same between them. Might as well break the ice.
“whoa Jay, helluva way to make an entrance, don’t cha think?….you want the whole world to know where you are??”.
A big grin on his face, Jensen used his grip on Jared’s hand to pull him in for a brief before letting him go, saying “ But then you always did go your own way, dint cha?”
At those words Jensen felt Jared stiffen, all the tension that had been released on finding Jensen unharmed returning, to settle like a lead weight in his chest. How clearly he remembered the last time Jensen had said exactly that, exactly those words. Jared had just told him he no longer wanted to be just a chaser, that he wanted more. Only that time the tone was slightly different, more contempt and scorn. How clearly he remembered that fight, hurtful and dirty, the two of them screaming at each other and that last sound- the snick of the door closing as he left- so innocuous a sound for something that was so final. The frozen look on Jensen’s face showed that he remembered too.
that reminds me, is anyone willing to beta something, over the course of the next week? they extended the deadline for reel_spn by a week, but i've practically not written much, so i'll be doing it in bits over the next couple of days. ages ago i asked for a beta and i recieved a very sweet offer, but i've been slacking off and that person probably has much better things to do now so...
other news??? the SGA fandom is taking over my brain- is that news?? seriously, i just realized that i have more mcshep fics tagged on my delicious page than both spn and rps combined. i have no idea what it is about that fandom. i mean before i started reading the fics i'd only seen two episodes, now i've only caught up with the first season.. but im still completely hooked. maybe its coz david hewlett is freaking awesome, and funny and just makes me want to hug rodney mckay, or the fact that joe flanigan has the most gorgeous skin. seriously, i start drooling everytime they show him in the gym on atlantis coz the lights just..i dunno make his skin glow or something. hehe, now i osund completely crazy... but then what else is new.
ooh other intersting things. i found this awesome icon while surfing facebook, it was on one of the supernatural comms but i dont know who made it. and i really want to use it but would hate to do so without crediting. to that effect, does anyone know where this is from?? coz it seriously made me giggle the first time i saw it. ideas???
other than that (really really really ) long despcription above, theres nothing else new wiht me. and hey if something comes up you guys will be like the first to know , hehe.
