Basically
1. Open your music library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc.).
2. Put it on shuffle and press play.
3. For every question, type the song that's playing. When you go to a new question, go to the next song.
4. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool.
and your life might come out looking like
Opening Credits: I’ll Be Home for Christmas- Sinatra. For Christ sake! My life is a Christmas movie?! At least it’s Sinatra, so the songs not as annoying as usual. (ETA: still can’t figure how this would fit in at all! Ideas?)
Waking Up: Blue Oyster Cult- Fire of Unknown Origin! WTF? ETA: considering this is a tragedy
Death sweeping down the hallway seems kinda appropriate. Esp considering I die of third degree burns...)
Falling in Love: Un Amore Per Sempre- Josh Groban. oooh I like this one. I love this song though I have absolutely no idea what he is saying. ETA: translated from Italian it means ‘a love for always’ or ‘one love forever’. Best love song title EVAH! (The lyrics are sad though. ETA: Foreshadowing- duhn duhn duhn)
Fight Song: Heartbeats- Jose Gonsalves. Have you heard this song? It would be the worst fight song ever. This would only work if I was like fighting with someone by letter! Ok so maybe instead I’m fighting with the love of my life. So now this is a romantic comedy. ETA: apparently its actually a romantic tragedy ala Romeo and Juliet. What fun!
Breaking Up: The Impossible Dream- from the Man of
Prom: Jamiaca Farewell- Harry Belafonte. Oh it’s a beach type theme, exciting though not good for dressing up. hehe. Either that or my break up listed above actually happens at this tragic prom. *weeps*
Life is Good: I Miss You Love- Silverchair. Seriously this is the most fucked up movie ever!
Mental Breakdown: 21 Seconds to Go- So Solid Crew. this song would drive anyone around the bend... ETA: oh my loves gonna get married I have to stop him!
Driving: Speaking in Tongues- Eagles of Death Metal. Hey I could get into this. It’s catchy. ETA: my driving is so speedy it needs two theme songs!(see above)
Flashback: Come Clean- Hillary Duff. Don’t shoot me *hides* its totally from a couple of years ago I swear. But it does sorta make sense as a flashback song ‘lets go back, back to the beginning…’ OH how our love was born/furthered/killed.
Getting Back Together: Senza Catene- Amici. This song is basically unchained melody but in another language. This is basically me pleading for my lost love to come back… come baaaack *weeps some more*
Wedding: Shh- Frou Frou. Oooh um secret sex before the wedding? Oh I know my love is going to marry someone else but I win him back just before the wedding with the power of the righteous brothers and now we are trying to escape the wedding before anyone catches/stops us. There might be some hiding/sex in closets involved. Fun!
Night Before the War: On Call- Kings Of
Final
Moment of Triumph: Play with Fire- Hillary Duff. *winch* yes another one. I wont even try and excuse it. But but it makes sense. Coz the evil scorned bride instead defeats me by setting me on fire. It’s not my moment of triumph but really it’s not a happy movie at all. Ooooh maybe while flailing on fire I bump into her and set her acrylic outfit on flame too. And my love is too busy trying to put me out to bother with her and she DIES!!!
Death Scene: Live and Learn- the Cardiagan. Lyrics are totally appropriate. ‘Why must I burn etc’ except I don’t live and learn. *sigh* iz a tragedy *weeps buckets of tears and snot (coz no one is pretty when crying I say)*
Funeral Song: Got You Where I Want You- The Flys. No, no, no. I can barely stand this song on normal days. Is so not gonna play while I lay dead thank you very much. NEXT!!!
Crazy In Love- Beyonce and Jay-Z. oh god! That’s so sad! Jay-Z followed me into the after life!
I give up! (if anyone comes up with an idea for why either of these songs would be appropriate I offer cookies)
End credits: I Walk The Line- Johnny Cash. Oh we finish on my love pining for me forever. Or if this movie is as fucked up as I think it is, a flashback to before all the fighting and crap. When we were happy and didn’t know shit was gonna go down. Yeah I like the second option.
Note: the first bits are my initial thoughts. the ETAs are what i came up with after all the songs were listed.
Child of the Note: there were some things even I couldnt figure out. virtual cookies for the person that comes up with a cool idea for why my opening credits and funeral song is so f*cked up! hehe.
Grandchild of the Note:
am i supposed to be studying? YES!
am i? NO!
do you see a problem here?!
